My AI's answers are too vague

Vague in, vague out. Two questions to find what your AI is missing.

All the answers

Give it the context a colleague would need

An AI doesn't know your company, your audience or what you've already tried. Tell it.

  • Say who it is for and what they need to do after reading.
  • Paste the facts, notes or data it should use.
  • Say what you don't want: length, tone, things to avoid.

Describe the finished thing

Most vague answers come from not saying what "done" looks like.

  • Name the format: a table with these columns, five bullet points, an email under 150 words.
  • Say who will read it and what they should do next.

Show it a good one

An example beats a description.

  • Paste an example you liked and say what to keep.
  • Ask it to ask you three questions before it starts.
  • Ask for two versions and pick the better one.
